It's crunch time. The 2018 Lakoseljac Cup Quarter Final is nearly here and we have a cracker of a fixture coming up at Darcy Street.

Coach Ken Morton said “I was happy with our performance against Clarence and I thought we played some quality football on a difficult pitch. On Saturday against Launceston City we earned a valuable point against a strong opponent.  We played some good football but couldn’t find that cutting edge in and around the penalty box.  Today’s opponent Hobart Zebras had a resounding first victory against Riverside and has been in impressive form in the NPL. Muller and Huigsloot have controlled midfield and the four front players are all quality, big game players.  South Hobart are looking forward to today’s game.  We have prepared well and we go into the game with confidence.”

If you cannot wait until Sunday then come and support our senior women as they take on the undefeated Ulverstone SC in their quarter final of the Statewide Cup.

Coach Craig Westwood said " Our team brings increasing confidence into this match having acquitted themselves well in the first half of their last encounter by scoring first and keeping the score level at one apiece at the break.  The skill and talent of the Ulverstone side ensured they won the day and they will be looking to replicate that result today to advance to the semi-finals.  However, the experience and knowledge our players have gained from playing the top two women's teams over the last two weeks should ensure a competitive and enjoyable match."
