Under guidance of our physiotherapy partners Allcare Physio, we now have a clear protocol to follow regarding concussion and player welfare. Our coaching staff have worked closely with our qualified health advisors and have committed to adhere to these guidelines.

Working with Children Policy (2014)

The State Government has introduce new legislation relating to Working with Children in 2014. This new legislation means it will be compulsory to have a "Working with Children" check done to act as a volunteer at South Hobart Football Club. Please read our Working with Children Policy in full.

Like all clubs, South Hobart Football Club has a Code of Conduct for our members. When a player, coach or volunteer registers with our Club, as a member you are committing to our code of conduct.

Football Federation Policies & Guidelines

South Hobart FC takes the management of concussion in football seriously and we follow the FFA Concussion Guidelines when managing concussion for our players. The Guidelines are available in a pdf format on the left.

As players, officials and supporters of our great game we are also bound by Football Federation Australia's policies. Please note that both individuals and clubs can incur penalties for conduct in breach of these policies. These can be found on the Football Federation Australia website.
